| Scope |
The Work consists of: Removal of the existing play structure, concrete curbing and wood fiber surfacing materials; installation of new water utility lines and drainage system; grading; installation of new play structures, ornamental features, art sculptures, tables, benches, drinking fountains, and other site furnishings; installation of new surfacing for pathways and the play areas; installation of short retaining walls and perimeter fencing; installation of landscaping materials, plants, and irrigation system. Standard vehicular & pedestrian traffic control and erosion control protocols shall be observed. Removal of packing materials and general cleanup of the project area shall be included.
All playground equipment, furnishings and materials shall be installed in a manner in accordance with current ASTM and CPSC playground safety standards and guidelines.
