Note to All Subcontractors: Both buildings (Middle School & High School), are being bid as one contract. Each building has its own specification section. Below we have listed in the Scope of work if the spec is only required at only one school. Please breakdown all bids per school in addition a total for both schools. Both schools must be bid as one proposal but we do require accurate pricing broken down by school.
DESCRIPTION
The project at Governor Mifflin High School involves significant renovations. The existing building is a 208,547 sq. ft., two-story structure. The renovations including the construction of new interior partitions, doors hardware, flooring, wall finish, paint, casework, ceilings, lockers and kitchen equipment. Renovated spaces will include classrooms, science labs, dining commons, kitchen, music suite, locker rooms and support areas. The scope of work also includes some minimal site work, such as a new dumpster area and loading dock driveway reconstruction. The project at the Middle school involves significate renovations. The existing building is a 112,413 sq. ft. two-story structure. The renovation includes the construction of new interior partitions, doors hardware, flooring, wall finish, paint casework, ceilings, secure entrances with canopy, steps and ramp. Renovated spaces will include classrooms, science labs, library commons, music, large group instruction, administration office, corridors and support areas. The scope of work also includes some minimal site work, such as new concrete walkways and stamped driveway crosswalk
