Description of Project:
The project at Sarah Starkweather Elementary School involves significant demolition, additions, and renovations. The existing building will undergo comprehensive multiple phase interior renovations. This includes the demolition of existing partitions, doors, casework, windows, ceilings, roofs, and other building elements; construction of new interior partitions and ceilings, installation of new doors, hardware, flooring, paint, casework, and ceilings. There will be three new building additions, including classroom spaces, kitchen spaces, and administrative spaces. The scope of work also includes extensive site improvements, such as parking lot and driveway reconstruction, and the installation of two new roofing systems for both the existing building and new additions.
