| Scope |
This request is for a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB) procurement to select a qualified contractor to complete the Taxiway DS East and Deicing Pad project at Denver International Airport (DEN). The Taxiway DS East project will provide construction services for a new taxiway and taxilane pavements, snow removal equipment (SRE) and ground service equipment (GSE) staging area, a snow-melter pad, vehicle service roads (VSR), and a de-icing ramp. The work requires infrastructure elements including HMA and PCCP pavement, electrical, storm drainage, deicing waste collection and conveyance, earthwork,pavement markings, and water infrastructure. Millstone Weber requests quotes be submitted no later than Noon February 24th, 2023 due to the Monday Bid Deadline.
The DBE goal on this project is 24%, both CDOT & CCD DBE's will be counted toward participation.
This project is anticipated to start in June 2023 with a construction duration of 411 days. There are multiple phases within these 411 days.
The project is Federally funded and therefore is Buy American, Prevailing Wage, and requires Certified Payrolls. Additionally, this proejct is a ROCIP project and located on the active airfield so drivers will be required to carry the $10M insurance required.
