| Scope |
The work includes renovations to the existing building 250, completed in 2011 on the Dam Neck Annex. The focus of this project is the reorganization of the main second-floor entrance, office renovations, and repurpose of an existing shower room into a breakroom. No modifications to the exterior of the building, AT/FP requirements, or changes to existing functions are anticipated. The scope of this work includes design for new walls to create the secure boundary with required STC ratings, revision to electrical, telecom, fire protection, and mechanical systems to accommodate new work, new finishes, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E), and Audio Visual
(A/V) equipment. In the Commander's suite an existing shower room will be renovated and
converted into a breakroom and incidental related work. SITE VISIT
Date and Time: Tuesday, 25 July 2023, 11:30 EDT
Location: Building 250, Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, Virginia
Badging: Contractor personnel that do not have DBIDS access for Naval Air Station Oceana, must follow and adhere to the instructions contained within Attachments C, D, and E, ensuring enough time for processing, prior to the site visit date. Attachments C, D, and E are provided.
If you are registered with DBIDS or after obtaining your one-day visitor’s pass in accordance with Attachments C, D, and E, all participating contractors shall proceed to the DEVGRU Visitor Pass and ID office on Dam Neck Annex. Once you have both Base Access and DEVGRU access, you will be escorted to Building 250 at NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA. Please be advised you must obtain your visitor’s pass from the Pass/ID office and visitor’s pass to DEVGRU prior to proceeding to Building 250.
