| Scope |
The project consists of highway reconstruction of Peña Boulevard outbound from Jackson Gap Street to the terminal. Additionally, Jackson Gap Street Interchange will be reconstructed and changed to a diverging diamond interchange (DDI) geometric configuration as well as the reconstruction of the Jackson Gap Street roadway from 74th Ave. to 78th Ave. The project also includes improving the Direct Connection Ramps from East Terminal Outbound and West Terminal Outbound to New Castle Road. The Peña Boulevard Bridges, inbound and outbound over Jackson Gap Street will be modified and rehabilitation of other bridge structures within the work limits is included. The scope of work will include but is not limited to PCCP pavement construction pavement rubblization, bridge construction, traffic signals/traffic control, storm drainage/water quality, reconstruction of Jackson Gap Interchange (DDI), improved direct connect ramps, and reconstruction on Peña Boulevard outbound.

We have broken the plansets down into manageable sizes for scopes, please see the Drawing Packages folder in the Planroom.

This project has a 17% M/WBE Goal as well as WorkForce Development Goals. Please be sure to provide participation to these goals with your bids. After the Pre-Bid an LOI will be sent out for M/WBE participation.
Q&A's are due by November 21st. Questions can be submitted through BidNet directly.
This project is anticipated to start in April 2024 with a 900 calendar day schedule.
This project is a ROCIP IV Project, please reference the ROCIP IV Project Manual for requirements.
This proejct will require Prevailing Wage and Certified Payrolls.
