The Project consists of two buildings, a new detention center and a new EMS facility on the same site to be bid concurrently to a single prime contractor. The detention center totals 37,000 sf and the EMS facility totals 8,500 sf. Construction includes CMU and brick veneer masonry construction, interior CMU partitions, TPO roofing, detention equipment, security electronics, and finishes typically associated with a detention center. The jail project includes steel modular detention cells, dayrooms, recreation yards, multi-purpose rooms, and utility spaces. Sitework includes sidewalks, grading, and fencing/gates. Mechanical work includes ductwork, plumbing, sprinkler system, smoke control system, bas controls, and rooftop units. Electrical work includes panelboards, lighting fixtures, fire alarm, emergency generator, power, technology wiring and infrastructure; and security systems (cameras, intercoms, duress, door controls, and touchscreens).
The EMS facility will be a pre-engineered metal building.
