This project generally includes the construction of a new multi-lane roadway connecting HWY 401 & NC HWY 42 in Fuquay-Varina. The project will be built in conjunction with the development of the Gold Leaf Crossing shopping center. CCI is only pricing the underground utility & pump station scopes on this project. Portions of work available for subcontract / material supply include precast concrete, pipe, valves & accessories, jack & bores, fencing, high performance coatings, submersible pumps & controls, inline grinder assembly, odor control, electrical & SCADA.

In order to encourage minority and women business enterprise subcontractors to participate in the bidding process, CCI will consider the following option/actions if required and requested in the proposal: assistance in obtaining bonding or insurance; coordinating joint pay agreements; assisting in obtaining the same unit pricing for supplies as is available to the contractor; coordinating bi-weekly pay agreements. Subcontractors can bid work for this project in any areas that they are qualified.
