Scope |
NE Combs Flat Road Extension, Segment 1A & Ochoco Irrigation District Ironhorse Piping The City of Prineville is seeking proposals to extend NE Combs Flat Road approximately 5,900 feet from the intersection of NE Combs Flat Road and NE Whistle Way/NE Ironhorse Drive to the intersection of NE Peters Road and Yellowpine Road. The road extension includes a new roundabout at the intersection with NE Hudspeth Road and crosses the Barnes Buttes wetlands. Domestic water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater facilities are proposed with the road extension.
In addition to the roadway extension, this project includes piping the existing Ochoco Irrigation District canal between the intersection of NE Combs Flat Road and NE Laughlin Road and the intersection of NE Peters Road and Yellowpine Road. Approximately 7,200 lf of 78” I.D. HDPE irrigation pipe, pressure ratings between 30 and 60 psi, will follow the new road alignment. The irrigation piping will connect to the Crooked River Pump Station #1 at the south end of the project and will discharge to the existing canal along Yellowpine Road at the north end of the project. The construction activities cannot compromise the delivery or interfere with the operation of the existing irrigation system (pumping, piping, canal, syphon) until the close of the 2024 irrigation season. Construction of the irrigation piping must be complete, including testing and training, to have a functioning system for the 2025 irrigation season (March 31, 2025).
The project must be completed by June 30, 2025.
