Cheever Construction is bidding as a General Contractor on the CEDAR BLUFFS PUBLIC SCHOOLS – PRE-K CLASSROOM AND SECURE ENTRY 2:00 PM, LOCAL TIME, ON THURSDAY, THE 30TH OF MAY, 2024
SCOPE OF NOTICE:
The work involves all construction indicated on the drawings and specifications, included but not
limited to the following: The scope of work will include the renovation of approximately 5,000 sq ft
of the existing Cedar Bluffs Public School, in the old cafeteria and the main entry areas, including
classrooms, restrooms, second floor storage area, corridor, secure entry office and vestibule.
Specific construction activities will include: Concrete slabs on grade, concrete footings, masonry
and metal stud bearing walls, steel stairs, light gauge steel joists, floor sheathing, metal deck,
carpeting, gyp board, tile, acoustical ceilings, paint, hollow metal frames, wood doors, aluminum
entrances, HVAC, plumbing, power and lighting systems as indicated in the construction
documents.
