The project includes the following:
• Water Infrastructure:
o Installing 9,900 LF of 4”, 6”, 8”, and 12” water main and appurtenances.
o Installing 300 water service change overs with 85 being via trenchless means.
o Installing 300 water meter and box replacements.
o Abandoning 19,050 LF of existing 1.5”, 2”, 6”, and 8” water main.
o Removal and disposal of 1,575 LF of 1.5” and 6” water main.
• Wastewater Infrastructure:
o Installing 3,750 LF of 8” gravity sewer main and 18 manholes.
o Installing 105 sewer lateral service replacements with 3 being via trenchless means.
o Installing 195 LF of sewer lateral adjustment adjacent to CSXT ROW
o Installing 533 LF of sewer lateral re-routing
o Installing 2,250 LF of sanitary sewer lateral service CIPP lining
o Removal and disposal of 3,275 LF of 6” and 8” gravity sewer and 11 manholes
• Storm Drainage Infrastructure
o Installing 725 LF of 12”, 15”, 18”, and 24” storm pipe and 17 storm structures.
o Removal and disposal of 725 LF of 12”, 15”, 18”, and 24” storm pipe and 17 storm structures.
• Miscellaneous
o Installing appropriate E&S measures.
o Installing 43,340 SY of 2-inch asphalt roadway milling and overlay.
o Installing 9,995 SY of full depth asphalt pavement repair.
o Removal and replacement of 11,890 SY of Asphalt pavement.
o Removal and replacement of 190 LF of Granite Curb to Wake Forest Historic District Standard.
o Removal, replacement, and installation of 76 concrete curb ramps to ADA compliance.
o All associated efforts to return the site to pre-construction conditions.
• Add Alternate Bid #1
o Abandon 470 LF of 1.5” Galvanized water main along N. White Street between E. Cedar Avenue and Lee Street
and replace with approximately 500 LF of 6-inch ductile iron water main, appurtenances, and fittings.
