| Scope |
The Interim Heliport Project is a new temporary heliport site for the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland (BCHO), located at 101 Admiral Toney Way, Oakland, California.
The site is situated at the cross-section of I-880 East and I-80 East, southeast of the Caltrans Toll Plaza and Bay Bridge Toll Plaza.
The Interim Heliport Project will provide a new temporary helistop for private (public safety only) use, exclusively by UCSF BCHO, for a Type A-1 aircraft per the 2024 NFPA 418.
Site improvements will include:
- New flatwork and sitework elements
- New touchdown and lift-off area
- New ambulance access driveway
- New fencing with a secure manual access point
- New lighting
