This project is for the Replacement of Backup Power Generation at at NH139
Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads, Virginia. The work includes the complete design for the
replacement of backup generation, UPS, and PLC’s and incidental related work. Contractor will follow
UFC 3-501-01 for replacement equipment and installation compliance. Equipment and any installation
must comply with current requirements. The replaces systems must work correctly with all necessary
interfaces whether specifically indicated or not. The reference drawings may not be accurate and the
contractor accepts that their inclusion in the RFP is to aid in evaluation, but cannot be held to be verified
or complete. Any discrepancy, error, or omissions in these old as-built drawings do not relieve the
Contractor of the obligation to perform this work and no extra compensation will be allowed for same.
In submitting a proposal for this work, it is understood that the Contractor takes full responsibility of all
work performed including all professional services of verifying the existing systems interoperability with
the facility.
