Scope |
This is a Federally funded project for the City of Palo Alto involving bridge replacement, creek protection measures, dewatering, concrete demo, concrete structures (reinforced pile abutments, floodwalls & retaining walls), raising approaches and utilities to grade as needed. Project is located in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County, CA. DBE Goal is 23%
Engineer’s Estimate: $12,000,000
Contract Time: 1.5 years (in-creek work limited to June 15-October 15)
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes on this project from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for any portion of the work.Granite Construction will break down items of work to facilitate DBE participation on this project. All non-DBE subcontractors are also encouraged to utilize DBE suppliers for their work, where possible.

Granite Construction Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions.
100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite Construction will assist with bonding costs for subcontractors.
