Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Pipe supplier, Drainage systems supplier, Construction area signs, Traffic control system, Traffic flagger, Temporary railing (type k), (Reset, relocate, adjust, modify roadway items), Clearing & grubbing, Develop water supply, Highway planting, Erosion control, Temporary erosion control , Concrete pumping, Place asphalt concrete dike & misc, Concrete structure, Minor concrete structure, Reinforced concrete pipe, Corrugated metal pipe (cmp), jacked corrugated steel pipe or welded steel pipe, Downdrain, Corrugated steel pipe inlet & riser, Corrugated steel pipe energy dissipator, Welded steel pipe, Welding contractor, Jacked welded steel pipe, Junction chamber, Rock slope protection (rsp), Metal railing (include handrailing, cable railing, bicycle railing), Crash cushion, Maintaining existing traffic mgmt system elements during construction, Signal & lighting (furnishing, installing, modifying or removing ), Environmental – water quality , Lead compliance, Swppp planning, Trucker
The DBE Contract goal is 19 percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACNH-Q101(445)E Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can get 3rd DBE participation to help us meet the DBE Goal 19%.
The estimated cost of the project is $15,100,000.00

Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote. No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting.
