| Scope |
The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work:
1. Construction survey and layout, verification of subgrades, lake and pond outline, pipelines, and all associated facilities.
2. Subgrade and grade modifications required for Nature Lake and the Pond improvements, including mass and fine grading. Finish grades to be as indicated on the Contact Documents.
3. Removal of all trash and debris from the bottom of the Pond once drained.
4. Demolition of portions of the existing shoreline wall, retaining wall, boat dock, etc.
5. Earthwork (including stockpiling, hauling, import of engineered fill, and export).
6. Installation of a membrane as set forth on the Contract Documents at Nature Lake and the Pond.
7. Installation of a soil liner at Nature Lake and the Pond.
8. The installation of reinforced concrete veneer at the shoreline wall, as indicated on the Contract Documents.
9. Decorative stained and eroded shoreline treatment, including the construction of a five-foot mockup of the shoreline for approval.
10. Floating pond fountain installation, anchors, electrical cable, conduit, wire, liner penetration, equipment pad, and control panel.
11. Pond aeration system includes tubing, compressor, diffusers, valve boxes, conduit, wire, liner penetration, equipment pad, and outdoor enclosure.
12. Pond electrical conduits, wiring, junction box, and connection to a power source.
13. Miscellaneous construction as shown on the Contract Documents or as set forth in the Project Manual.
14. As-builts and other close-out documents, including warranties, operating and maintenance manuals, etc.
15. Contractor shall provide a comprehensive Project logistics plan within five (5) days of the award of contract.
16. Protection of the top edge of the new shoreline wall prior to the installation of sidewalks, which are to be installed as part of Phase 2.
17. Immediately upon mobilization, establish a secure perimeter of Phase 1 work by installing a fence of not less than seven (7’) feet in height with the appropriate number of gates that can be secured after normal working hours. Installation and ongoing maintenance of tree protection, etc.
18. Strict compliance with all Project Conditions of Approval and Mitigation Measures set forth in permits and approvals issued by Federal and State authorities having jurisdiction.
19. Completely drain the Pond, maintain the existing soil liner, partially drain the Lake, install cofferdams, and perform ongoing dewatering from inside the cofferdams.
20. Reconstruction and restoration of the Pond and Lake.
21. The expansion of Nature Lake.
22. Protection of flora and fauna.
23. Installation and ongoing maintenance of the SWPPP.
