Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to ASPHALT SUPPLIER(BULK ITEM), PIPE SUPPLIER, DRAINAGE SYSTEMS SUPPLIER, CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM, TEMPORARY RAILING (TYPE K), RESET, RELOCATE, ADJUST, MODIFY ROADWAY ITEMS, PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE, CLEARING & GRUBBING, EROSION CONTROL, TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL , SEAL COAT (Tack Coat), PAVEMENT REINFORCING FABRIC, PLACE ASPHALT CONCRETE DIKE & MISC, CLEAN & SEAL PAVEMENT JOINTS – ROUT & SEAL CRACKS, ROADSIDE SIGN, CORRUGATED METAL PIPE (CMP), DOWNDRAIN, CORRUGATED STEEL PIPE ENERGY DISSIPATOR, ROCK SLOPE PROTECTION (RSP), MISC IRON & STEEL FRAME, COVER & GRATE, SAW CUTTING, TEMPORARY FENCING , OBJECT MARKER, METAL BEAM GUARD RAILING, CRASH CUSHION, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKING, REMOVE PAVEMENT MARKING & TRAFFIC STRIPES, PAVEMENT MARKER, MAINTAINING EXISTING TRAFFIC MGMT SYSTEM ELEMENTS DURING CONSTRUCTION, SIGNAL & LIGHTING (Furnishing, installing, modifying or removing ), MESSAGE SIGNS, LIGHTING & SIGN ILLUMINATION, PAVEMENT PROFILING, LEAD COMPLIANCE, SWPPP PLANNING, STREET SWEEPING TRUCK, TRUCKER
The DBE Contract goal is 19 percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACHSNH-Q101(446)E Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can get 3rd DBE participation to help us meet the DBE Goal 19%.
The estimated cost of the project is $3,800,000.00
Plans and specifications are available at Caltrans https://ppmoe.dot.ca.gov/des/oe/weekly-ads/oe-project-calendar.php?q=01-0K1504. You’ll need a login and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement to access plans.

Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote. No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting.
