eci Construction is seeking bids for the New 79,933 Sf York Suburban Intemediate School.The Project consists of the complete demolition of the existing East York Elementary School and construction of the new York Suburban Intermediate School. New construction consists of load bearing masonry, steel joists and metal deck, masonry veneer, exterior metal wall panels, metal roofing, EPDM membrane roofing, aluminum windows, storefront and curtain wall systems, casework and interior finishes The existing East York Elementary school will remain occupied and in uninterrupted use during the construction of the new Intermediate School. Additional Bid Info:
- Pre-Bid Conference will be held on August 18, 2025 at 2 PM, at the East York Elementary School. Those unable to attend the pre-bid site visit can schedule a visit by contacting Jessica Thompson via email: jthompson@yssd.org.
- Our bids are due to the owner on September 23rd, 2025 at 2:00PM AM. Please have your bids to us no later than September 22nd, 2025 at 2PM.
- RFIs need to be received 7 days prior to bid date if you want them to be addressed.
- 567 Day Duration to Substantial Completion.
- Notice To Proceed TBD.
- This project is bidding as a multi-prime project. Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical contractors are required to bid directly to the owner.
- Prevailing wages do apply. Please bid accordingly.
- The project involves 4 alternates. Please review spec section 012300 and provide all that effect your scope with your bid.
- There are 5 unit prices. Please review 012200 and provide all that apply with your bid.
- There are 3 Alternates. Please review 012300 and provide all that apply with your bid.
- No substitutions requests will be considered during the bid period. Bids shall be based on products from one of the manufactures specified or an "equal" product.
- Substitution requests submitted more than 60 days after Notice to Proceed must be accompanied by a credit proposal.
- The project owner or eciConstruction will not pay any materials increases after a bid is submitted. Please include any required materials increases in your bid.
