Description of Project:
The Project consists of the complete demolition of the existing East York Elementary School and construction of the new York Suburban Intermediate School. The existing East York Elementary school will remain occupied and in uninterrupted use during the construction of the new Intermediate School. Generally, the new construction consists of load bearing masonry, steel joists and metal deck, masonry veneer, exterior metal wall panels, EPDM membrane roofing, aluminum windows, storefront and curtain wall systems, casework and interior finishes along with the specified mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
