Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited DRAINAGE SYSTEMS SUPPLIER, CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, TRAFFIC FLAGGER, TEMPORARY RAILING (TYPE K), PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE, HIGHWAY PLANTING, HYDROSEEDING, EROSION CONTROL, IRRIGATION SYSTEM, TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL , FURNISH & DRIVE PILING, CONCRETE STRUCTURE, CLEAN & PAINT STEEL, CORRUGATED METAL PIPE (CMP), PERMEABLE MATERIAL, MISC IRON & STEEL FRAME, COVER & GRATE, METAL BEAM GUARD RAILING, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKING, REMOVE PAVEMENT MARKING & TRAFFIC STRIPES, LEAD COMPLIANCE, SWPPP PLANNING
The DBE Contract goal is 21 percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACST-S121(018)E Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can get 3rd DBE participation to help us meet the DBE Goal 21%.
The estimated cost of the project is $1,830,000.00

Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote. No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting.
