1.04 SCHEDULE OF ALTERNATES
A. Alternate No. A-1 - ADD WORK ASSOCIATED WITH ELEMENTARY VESTIBULE
RENOVATION AT VESTIBULE 175 AND CORRIDOR 176: In the proposal to the
Owner, as shown on the drawings, state the cost to ADD all work associated with the
Elementary Vestibule renovation at Vestibule 175 and Corridor 176, including demo of
the existing aluminum storefront, and add of the aluminum storefront framing, sliding
alum. window, carpet, ceiling, casework, steel counter supports, and dry sprinkler head.
B. Alternate No. A-2 - DELETE ALUMINUM WINDOW TYPE '6' AT FCS ROOM 162
AND SUBSTITUTE MASONRY WALL INFILL AT THE WINDOW AREA: In the
proposal to the Owner, as shown on the drawings, state the cost to DELETE window
type '6' at FCS Room 162 and substitute wall infill at window area with wall types 1C
and 2E.
C. Alternate No. A-3 - ADD EPOXY FLOORING IN LIEU OF PAINTED CONCRETE
FLOOR AT CUSTODIAL OFFICE 160: In the proposal to the Owner, as shown on the
drawings, state the cost to DELETE the paint at the concrete floor in Custodial Office
160 and substitute a quartz epoxy floor system to match the adjacent existing system.
The vinyl base shall remain in the base bid.
D. Alternate No. A-4 - ADD TECTUM SOUND PANELS AT THE NORTH, SOUTH AND
EAST WALLS OF BAND ROOM 148: In the proposal to the Owner, as shown on the
drawings, state the cost to ADD Tectum sound panels at the north, south and east
walls of Band Room 148 with a C-40 mounting system and painted wood trim at the
bottom and exposed side edges.
E. Alternate No. A-5 - ADD ALL WORK ASSOCIATED WITH THE STEEL STAIR
SERVING THE 2ND FLOOR: In the proposal to the Owner, as shown on the drawings,
state the cost to ADD the following work: Demo of masonry wall for door 202, demo of
select areas of existing exterior guard rail, the addition of galvanized steel stair,
guardrails and handrails serving the 2nd floor Mezzanine, east wall of Corridor 202,
doors 201 and 202, plywood and 2x wood ramp and landing with hand rails at Storage
200, electrical lighting at Corridor 202, re-routing of interior and exterior power conduit
at the area of door 202
F. Alternate No. M-1 - ADD A MINI-SPLIT MECHANICAL UNIT TO SERVE THE BAND
ROOM 148: In the proposal to the Owner, state the cost to ADD a mechanical mini-split HVAC system and the associated electrical work to serve the Band Room 148.
