| Scope |
The project consists of selective demolition within portions of two district elementary
schools for the purpose of making handicap accessible upgrades. Both Hooverville and
Summitview will receive new elevators, Hooverville’s in a new building addition and
Summitview’s within the existing building’s footprint. Further, Summitview will receive a new exterior handicap accessible ramp and a new exterior stair down to the school’s playground. Both buildings will also be renovated to provide handicap accessible toilets.
Generally, the new construction consists of load bearing masonry, steel joists and metal deck, masonry veneer, exterior metal wall panels, EPDM membrane roofing, aluminum storefront systems and interior finishes. For a full description of work please review the project documents.

- Hooverville ES: Start: April 3rd 2026 - Completion: Dec. 18th 2026. (Elevator/Stair Tower Only)
- Hooverville ES: Start: June 1st 2026 - Completion: Aug. 7th 2026. (Toilet Rooms Only)
- Fairview ES: Start: June 1st 2026 - Completion: Dec. 18th 2026. (New Elevator)
- Fairview ES: Start: June 1st 2026 - Completion: Aug. 18th 2026. (Gang Toilet, Stairs & Ramp)
- Fairview ES: Start: June 1st 2026 - Completion: Aug. 7th 2026. (Single Toilet Rooms Only)
- Their are 4 unit prices. See spec 012200 for the full descriptions.
- This project is bidding as a multi-prime project. Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical contractors are required to bid directly to the owner.
- Prevailing wages do apply. Please bid accordingly.
- Substitution Request will NOT be considered. Architect will consider requests for substitutions if received within 60 days AFTER Notice to Proceed. Requests received more than 60 days after Notice to Proceed may be considered or rejected at the sole discretion of Architect, if your product is not listed or approved do not bid.
- All RFI questions must be submitted 7days prior to the bid date, please review documents early so we can get clarifications that may be needed.
- The project owner or eciConstruction will not pay any materials increases after a bid is submitted. Please include any required materials increases in your bid.
