Hershey Elementary School

We are inviting subcontractors and suppliers to provide pricing for the new Hershey Elementary School project located at 450 Homestead Road, Hershey, Pa 17033.

This project is being bid under separate prime contracts for General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Electrical Construction, Plumbing Construction and Site Construction. The work includes construction of a new elementary school and demolition of the existing elementary school. Please see the project plans and specs for a complete scope of work. 


Key Project Info:

• GC Bids are due May 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Please have your quotes to us by May 13th at 4:00 PM. 
• A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 15th, 2026 at 10:00 AM, followed by a Site Walk.
• Questions are due 7 days prior to the bid due date. Please have all questions to us for submission by May 7th, 2026 at 9AM. 
• Anticipated Notice to Proceed June 29, 2026. 
• Substantial Completion December 15, 2028. 
• Liquidated Damages $1,500/Day. 
• This project is subject to PA Prevailing Wage rates, please bid accordingly. The wages are contained in 000900 Prevailing Minimum Wage Pre-Determination.
• Multiple prime contracts, we are biding the GC contract. (GC, MC, EC, PC, SC)
• No prebid substitutions allowed, please bid with specified products. 
• The project owner or eciConstruction will not pay any materials increases after a bid is submitted. Please include any required materials increases in your bid. 

Please provide your quotation with all applicable labor, materials, equipment, freight, supervision, testing, and closeout requirements included for your trade. Clearly identify any exclusions, qualifications, alternates, and long-lead items with your proposal.
