The work consists of interior and exterior renovation of a walkway connection
(link) between two classroom additions. The link is approximately 900 sf and renovation
consists of removal and replacement of all exterior wall assemblies, doors, windows and metal
panel. Interior renovation includes new flooring, gypsum board, acoustical ceiling tile, paint
and lighting. Electrical lighting, switches, outlets and new circuit work is minimal and will be
under the General Construction contract. Mechanical work includes reinstallation of an existing
pneumatic thermostat and air lines and will be under the General Construction contract. It is the
responsibility of the General Construction contract to subcontract any electrical and mechanical
work needed to complete all associated work as outlined in the Construction Documents. Project
construction estimate is $185,000.
