| Scope |
Scope of work: select demolition of existing buildings and site utilities, installation of new site utility and road infrastructure, and the construction of a new +/-60,000 GSF two-story classroom addition Pike Road, AL for the Pike Road City Board of Education (PRS). The building construction consists of rammed aggregate piers, reinforced concrete foundations, steel column and beams with light gauge metal stud and gypsum board walls with brick veneer, non-load bearing cmu interior walls for core traffic areas, steel joist and concrete floor framing, asphalt shingle roofing on light gauge metal trusses, and full MEP building system infrastructure.
The facility houses General Academic and multi-need classrooms, Administrative and Counseling Office suites and cafeteria expansion addition to adjacent building.
PREQUALIFICATION APPLICATIONS DUE:
Prequalification Submittals for General Contractors will be received electronically by the office of the Architect, Lathan McKee Architects, on behalf of Pike Road Schools, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, until 2:00 p.m., local time at the email address lathanprebidrfi@lathanmckee.com
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING:
There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting held at the Central Office, 10350 US HWY 80E, Montgomery, AL 36117, on Thursday December 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. All Pre-Qualified General Contractors who intend to submit a bid are required to attend.

PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE POSTED TO THE PROJECT PLANROOM ONCE THE PREQUALIFICATION PROCESS HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
ALL ADDENDA SHALL BE POSTED TO THE WEBSITE. IT IS THE GENERAL CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY THEY HAVE ALL UPDATED BID DOCUMENTS INCLUDING ALL ADDENDA BEFORE BID.
