| Scope |
In general, the project shall consist of selective demolition and new
construction including, but not limited to:
Site work, new single-level, steel posts, fiber cement panels, with stone veneer, precast concrete, standing seam roof on wood framed trusses, plus electrical work as required to perform the work under this Contract for Cahaba Elementary School and to properly join, connect and finish the new work to bring all to final, finished completion in first class manner ready for use by the Owner, all in strict accordance with Contract Documents including plans and specifications as prepared by Lathan
Associates Architects, P. C., Hoover, Alabama; and shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the proper completion of the building and other work as called for in the drawings and / or specifications dated October 16, 2026.
TIME FOR COMPLETION: All work under this Contract shall be complete and ready for Owner occupancy within Sixty ( 60 ) consecutive calendar days from written Notice To Proceed. The work under this contract shall commence within Ten (10) calendar days from date of Notice To Proceed.

ALL RFI AND PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY AN APPROVED BIDDER.
Architect's office will not release plans and specifications to Subcontractors, Vendors, or third party digital plan websites. Subcontractors and Vendors may view and/or obtain plans and/or specifications from an Approved Bidder.
