Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to
Pipe supplier, Construction area signs, Traffic control system, Traffic flagger, Temporary railing (type k), Plane asphalt concrete, Clearing & grubbing, Develop water supply, Structure excavation, Erosion control, Contractor Biologist, Temporary erosion control, Aggregate base (ab), Concrete pumping, Seal coat (tack coat), Asphalt concrete, Place asphalt concrete dike & misc, Ground anchor (soil nail), Drilled hole, Minor concrete structure, Furnish precast concrete member, Reinforcing steel, Roadside sign, Lumber & timber, Clean & paint steel, Corrugated metal pipe (cmp), Downdrain, Rock slope protection (rsp), misc iron & steel frame, cover & grate, Paint and stain concrete, Metal beam guard railing, Metal railing (include handrailing, cable railing, bicycle railing), Concrete barrier (permanent)(all concrete barrier types), Crash cushion, Thermoplastic traffic striping & marking, Painted traffic striping & marking, Maintaining existing traffic mgmt system elements during construction, Pavement profiling, Lead compliance, Swppp planning, Biological resources studies, Trucker
The DBE Contract goal is 21% percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACNH-P299(217)E Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can get 3rd DBE participation to help us meet the DBE Goal 21%.
The estimated cost of the project is $16,800,000.00

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting.
