Ferry Landside Project

General work description:  new concrete flatwork at the pedestrian plaza; new curb, gutter, and sidewalk; new concrete ADA parking stalls; utility trenching and installation for domestic water, storm drainage improvements, and electrical conduit; relocation of solar-powered parking ticket machines; relocation of Sally Sanford water foundation; tree removal and tree planting; landscaping and irrigation; pavement grinding and use of Gravel Pave surfacing; minor striping, marking, and signage improvements; traffic control; water pollution control; demolition of existing hardscape and softscape surfaces to facilitate construction; and ancillary work as shown on the project plans.

 Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Drainage systems supplier, Storm water systems supplier, Fencing supplier, Construction area signs, Traffic flagger, Clearing & grubbing, Highway planting, Irrigation system, Landscape care and maintenance services, Concrete curb & sidewalk- misc, Fencing, thermoplastic traffic striping & marking, Message signs, lighting & sign illumination, Super 10 dump truck, Trucker

The DBE/SBE Contract goal is 25.5 percent.

The estimated cost of the project is $1,263,742.00

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price.
