This is a Federally funded project for the County of Monterey involving roadway improvements on County streets, Monterey County, California. It includes a 19% DBE goal.
Engineer’s Estimate: $3,338,000
Contract Time: 100 working days
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes on this project from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for any portion of the work,
but specifically the following suggested items:
Lead Compliance Plan; SWPP Plan and Reporting; Fiber Rolls; Biologist; Construction Area Signs; Roadside Signs; Traffic Control; All Traffic Control Devices; Clearing; Tree Removal; All Erosion Control, Planting & Irrigation items; Soil Amendment & Fertilizer; Wood Mulch; Bioretention Soil Media; Asphalt Oil supply/delivery; Retaining Wall; Pipe & Drainage materials; Concrete Removals/Sawcutting; Utility Adjustments; Metal Railing; Striping & Marking; Electrical/Loop Detector; Trucking.
Please contact our office if there are additional items, or portions of items, your firm is interested in bidding. Granite Construction will break down items of work to facilitate DBE participation on this project. All non-DBE subcontractors are also encouraged to utilize DBE suppliers for their work, where possible.

100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite Construction will assist with bonding costs for subcontractors.
