General work description: Project Description: The project proposes to construct storm damage slide repair work along Stewarts Point Skaggs Springs Road. The work includes constructing reinforced soil embankment, drainage facilities, rock slope protection, AC paving, soldier pile wall with reinforced concrete cap and precast concrete panels, and Midwest guardrail systems. Project Location: The project site is located at post mile 19.67 Stewarts Point Skaggs Springs Rd.
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, Drainage systems supplier, Construction area signs, Traffic control system, Traffic flagger, Temporary railing (type k), Plane asphalt concrete, Develop water supply, Structure excavation, Structure backfill, Imported borrow, Hydroseeding, Erosion control, Temporary erosion control , Aggregate base (ab), Asphalt concrete, Place asphalt concrete dike & misc, Drilled hole, Minor concrete structure, Furnish precast concrete member, Clean & paint steel, Corrugated metal pipe (cmp), Filter fabric, Permeable material, Rock slope protection (rsp), "misc iron & steel frame, cover & grate", Metal beam guard railing, Crash cushion, Swppp planning, Water truck , Trucker, Reinforcing steel

The DBE Contract goal is 22 percent. Federal-aid project no.: ER-40A0 (102) Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can get 3rd DBE participation to help us meet the DBE Goal 22%.
The estimated cost of the project is $3,500,000.00

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%.
